Kei Hea Te Riwai by Ava Derrick for te reo we have to learn about the  reo Maori we have been learning about destinations and today we had to learn about how to say here there and way over there you say kei konei for here and kei kona is there and kei Kora is way over there we had to play a game if our techer said kei konei we had to go to her and if she said kei Kono and we had to go to the doors,

Neurographic art

This is a neurographic art It is a process proven with science to cal your mind I felt calm but it did take a long time but it was fun.

Have you ever done neurographic art before? if you haven’t you should try it.

statistics

For maths for the last few weeks we have been learning about statistics and graphs we have done bar charts,pie chart,stem and leaf chart and this week first I had to do a stem and leaf chart for the earthquake depth. Then I had to do 2 I wonders and i notice  then we had to create a graph to show our work.

For CRT we first had Caroline and we had to make a Colour block landscape we used the Polyline  to make the mountains and water we also used gradient to make the sun and back round  it was fun I liked it. and I also made made my own spongebob.

for maths some of this term we have been learning about shapes in the picture is rotating pattern we had to rotate the shape rotating the shape  like if its up you can rotate the shape right of left then we did a reflecting pattern so we had to flip it a translating patterns is like moving it like up and down.

Kate Sheppard

Kate Sheppard fought for women’s rights.  Kate Sheppard was born in 1847.In 1893 NZ let women vote Kate Sheppard fought because she wanted women to vote and worked.  She organized petitions to parliamant asking for women to have the rights to vote.

 

Jumping June

On Friday the 5th of July we did jumping June. It was very fun and I learnt how to do a cross over on skipping the rope. The thing I thought was the most fun was in  the hall doing tricks. I was skipping with Brooke.
