Holi is an ancient Hindu festival it is mainly celebrated in India and Nepal, it is celebrated for the arrival of spring and it is known as the festival of colour.
The traditions of Holi are throwing coloured powder and water that is called gulal. and is thrown at family and friends.
The food they eat is mostly is Gujiya, a sweet fried dumpling with sugar syrup and Dahivada, fried lentil dumplings and Papori, crispy dough wafers and much more food.
Holi is relevant to today because it’s a symbol of multiculturalism and incivility. and many people think it’s the festival of colour but it’s the festival of love, forgiveness, cherished friendship and harmony.
So holi brings people together it means good over evil and anyone can celebrate.
